At the moment this is all academic as I only have 17000 words, but my intentions are:

1. b)
2. b) ( I know exactly who I am going to ask, but I won't be asking them until draft 3 is done)
3. d) (Urban Fantasy)
4. d) (1. Verbal vomiting. 2. Fixing tenses, spelling and continuity. 3. Pacing of knowledge, relationships and action. 4. Working in what my critique partners advise. 5. Fixes from final read aloud before I send it off into the wilds.)

As this is only what I intend to do, I don't know if you will be able to use it in your research.

1. When querying agents, how many agents do you query in Round 1?

b) 2-10 (Just in case my query doesn't work and needs tweaking. Also lessens the flow of rejections - and requests - so I'm not as stressed, and therefore, my soul does not shrivel into a crushingly depressed state when the rejections do come. I'm optimistic! :D)

2. If you are a writer, how many critique partners do you work with?

(h) 3, and none of them know each other. It cuts down on group bias.

3. What genre do you write and query (please specify subgenre next to your chosen answer)?

b) Young Adult

4. How many full drafts do you go through before querying (on average)?

c) 2-3
AND!
g) Like 10 or 12 beers or so.

(Although, realistically, this depends on how much I edit while writing. Some works I get finished with right away and need more work. Others I continually edit in the process of finishing a draft and come out more polished, so they require less work.)

f---I haven't been able to find any yet.
b---YA, sometimes paranormal, sometimes more fantasy
d---I don't completely rewrite the whole thing from scratch each time, but I usually fiddle with plot, character and do line edits over and over again.
