Laugh, Cry, Debate

Back to work? Are you kidding??

We're all overstuffed from a weekend of eating (at least those of us in the US). The thought of trying to sit up at your desk/computer reading/writing seems exhausting. You just want to curl up on the couch with a bowl of popcorn and watch the entire season of Dollhouse, am I right?? (okay, that last part might just be me, but you get the idea)

So let's jump start your mental engines. Here's our latest to offer in Laugh. Cry. Debate.

I had great hopes for Dollhouse and the episodes Joss wrote were phenomenal (e.g., the one with Patton Oswalt), but overall, I don't think the show lived up to its potential. I didn't last long in the second season.

Thanks for the links, Joanna! That is such a great story about Keri. I used to work at an abuse shelter, and it's wonderful to hear about someone who fought and won -- and then continued to fight in the court system.

And I think I'll have to take your suggestion and go watch an entire season of Dollhouse. Agh, I just love that show. Joss Whedon is just brilliant.

Saw the So You Want to Write a Novel vid on Twitter this morning. Hilarious.

And I swear, my conversations with Jo sound NOTHING like this! :-)

I have watched that video too many times over the last two days. Hilarious. It reminds me of someone I knew who had been, "fleshing out a novel for the better part of the year" and only had a page and a half written.
